On 5 August 2011, Brazil started Operation Ágata, part of a major "Frontiers Strategic Plan" launched in June, with almost 30 continuous days of rigorous military activity in the region of Brazil’s border with Colombia; it mobilized 35 aircraft and more than 3,000 military personnel of the Brazilian Army , Brazilian Navy , and Brazilian Air Force surveillance against drug trafficking, illegal mining and logging, and trafficking of wild animals. A-29s of 1 / 3 º Aviation Group (GAV), Squadron Scorpion, launched a strike upon an illicit airstrip, deploying eight 230 kg (500 lb) computer-guided Mk 82 bombs to render the airstrip unusable. 
1. AVAILABILITY OF SERVICES: LSR will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Services will be made available to the Subscriber 24 hours per day throughout the Subscription Period ("Normal Service Availability"). However LSR reserves the right to, a) vary the Normal Service Availability in any way provided it gives the Subscriber 48 hours notice of its intention to do so. b) suspend the Services temporarily in the event of technical difficulties or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of LSR. In the event of any such variation or suspension of Services LSR will use all reasonable endeavours to resume Normal Service Availability as soon as practicable but shall not be liable for any loss, damage or claim caused by such variation or suspension.
The most common application of turboprop engines in civilian aviation is in small commuter aircraft , where their greater power and reliability offsets their higher initial cost and fuel consumption. Turboprop-powered aircraft have become popular for bush airplanes such as the Cessna Caravan and Quest Kodiak as jet fuel is easier to obtain in remote areas than avgas . [ citation needed ] Due to the high price of turboprop engines, they are mostly used where high-performance short-takeoff and landing ( STOL ) capability and efficiency at modest flight speeds are required.
